What is the Back to School Program?

Our Back to School Program encourages and empowers young, brilliant minds by supplying needy children with essential educational materials for them to compete on a level playing field in Jamaica's classrooms.

Why is it necessary?

For many of Jamaica 's underserved children, instead of a focus on academic excellence, the pursuit of a quality education becomes secondary to concerns of paying school fees, purchasing uniforms, finding money for transportation and meals and the acquisition of educational materials.

How Does It Work?

Educational materials are acquired from donor funds, special back to school drives and from donations from education institutions and businesses.

We work with educators and child-care givers to identify schools and individuals with the greatest need.

Provide educational materials for individual students and group homes that care for children and exhibit need.
