What is the 876 Empowerment Workshop Series?

The 876 Empowerment Workshop Series (876EWS) are a set of educational and training solutions. They are designed to provide the tools and other pertinent information needed to empower non-profit organizations and other entities that serve the people of Jamaica.

Why is it necessary?

Most grassroots and mid-sized non-profit organizations lack the financial resources to acquire expert services and tutelage on their own. For the aforesaid reasons, they struggle woefully to achieve organizational proficiency. Many of them service their communities without any formal training in non-profit management and operations.

How does it work?

Workshop topics are selected based on inter-agency communication with other non-profit organizations.

An expert is selected to work with our development team to create an operation manual for the workshop.

Venue, hospitality items and sponsors are then contacted to donate vital resources to ensure that the workshops are presented free of charge to attendees.

Workshop is advertised via press releases, radio, email and other sources of contact.
